Tapojärvi supports Finnish talents, such as Emil Lindholm and his co-driver Reeta Hämäläinen, on their successful rally journey in the WRC2 class.
Emil Lindholm is a Finnish rally driver and former circuit racer, best known for his WRC2 World Championship title in 2022. Success in rally driving runs in the Lindholm family, as Emil is the son of Sebastian Lindholm, the eight-time Finnish Rally Champion. Emil’s co-driver is Reeta Hämäläinen. Together, Emil and Reeta have achieved success in the international rally world.
Emil and Sebastian Lindholm had the opportunity to learn about Tapojärvi’s operations at the Outokumpu Kemi Mine. While the rally drivers were not allowed to test their skills on the underground tracks, they still highlighted several noteworthy aspects of the site.
