Safety Coordinator
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that all operational procedures are safe for people, the environment, and company assets. You will act as a subject-matter expert on safety legislation and guidelines, contributing to our efforts to maintain a strong safety culture throughout our operations. The position is based in Terni, Italy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in safety and environmental aspects of SOP development.
- Conduct risk assessments for tasks, processes, and equipment usage.
- Support preparation of work instructions ensuring safe work methods.
- Plan and implement preventive safety programs and deliver training sessions.
- Coordinate and conduct weekly safety information sessions with HR, Production Managers, and Supervisors.
- Perform safety rounds and inspections to evaluate safety behaviors and site conditions.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions after safety incidents.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and accident prevention regulations.
Environmental Responsibilities
- Maintain and update legal documentation (e.g., AIA, DVR, certificates).
- Manage the document archive related to safety and environmental issues.
- Oversee compliance with environmental standards in operational and project work.
- Monitor proper waste segregation during production and maintenance.
- Liaise with relevant authorities (INAIL, Fire Brigade, ARPA) on environmental matters.
- Ensure adherence to environmental monitoring plans and regulatory communications.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate closely with operators, supervisors, production and HR managers, project teams, client representatives, and external stakeholders to build a robust safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a safety and environmental expert.
- Deep knowledge of safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with hazardous materials and risk-based safety practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to deliver clear training and guidance on safety matters.
- Relevant academic background in safety management, engineering, or related fields.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.

- Total Recordable Incident Frequency (TRIF)
- Safety Actions Frequency (SAF)
- Quality and thoroughness of safety inspections
- Timely and effective implementation of corrective actions
- Number and quality of training sessions conducted
- Full compliance with environmental regulations
Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate all maintenance operations at our production site. This critical role ensures the continuous, safe, and efficient functioning of facilities and equipment, directly supporting our production objectives. The position is based in Terni, Italy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team (technicians, electricians, mechanics), assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Ensure operational reliability of equipment and facilities.
- Manage maintenance documentation and spare parts inventory.
- Handle maintenance emergencies and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and safety teams.
- Guarantee one week of on-call availability per month.
Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure safe working practices.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with accident prevention standards.
- Oversee proper waste handling and ensure adherence to environmental standards.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance practices.
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
