Tapojarvi Italia to Appoint New CEO

Proietti has served as the company’s General Manager since February 2025. He has over 15 years of experience in occupational safety and environmental affairs, and has been involved in developing Tapojarvi Italia in various roles since 2019.

– I would like to thank the company and its board for their trust. My goal is to continue developing the company by building on the strong foundation we have established together with Martti Kaikkonen. Tapojarvi Italia’s future will be built in close cooperation with the parent company, just as it has been from the very beginning. The cornerstones of our work are safety, efficiency, and quality—our success in completing the project, in the TapoEko product market, and in customer satisfaction also rests on these pillars, says Proietti.

During Martti Kaikkonen’s tenure, the company has transitioned from the implementation phase to the operational and commercial phase. The commercialization of circular economy products has begun, and the company has obtained several key certifications.

– It’s only natural that operations will now be handed over to local management. I’d like to extend my warmest thanks to everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with. “When we first visited Terni in December 2015, I could never have imagined everything this project would entail. I especially remember the many encounters with wonderful people,” says Kaikkonen.
